Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking a London-based CMBS leader to direct analytical coverage of a defined CMBS portfolio. You will mentor junior analysts, drive AI-enabled workflows, and deliver market-insight research on performance trends and issuance conditions.

You will contribute to independent credit opinions with rigor, collaborate with internal teams, and engage with issuers and investors to communicate clear, evidence-based narratives.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in commercial real estate finance and/or CMBS.
• Strong credit and financial analysis skills in structured finance.
• Proven ability to coach junior colleagues on credit fundamentals and processes.
• Experience integrating generative AI into analytical workflows with governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analytical execution across a defined CMBS portfolio, including new transaction analysis and surveillance.
• Coach junior analysts and coordinate portfolio workflows to manage capacity and quality risks.
• Translate data, analysis, and research into market-facing narratives for issuers, investors and market participants.
• Maintain strict adherence to methodology, confidentiality, and data governance requirements, including responsible AI practices.
