Job summary

Harnham invites a senior Credit Risk Analytics professional to London to own and lead complex engagements across the UK lending market. You will drive methodology, client delivery, and commercial outcomes while mentoring teams and shaping practice growth.

The role demands strong UK consumer/SME risk analytics expertise, portfolio insight, and leadership across scorecards, forecasting, provisioning, or capital modelling.

Qualifications

• Strong UK consumer or SME credit risk analytics experience.
• Extensive knowledge of lending portfolio and customer behaviour analysis.
• Expertise across scorecards, machine learning, forecasting, strategy development, provisioning, or capital modelling.
• Experience leading analytical teams and delivering complex projects.
• Advanced Python, SAS, or SQL capability, with Python highly desirable.
• Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Consultancy experience would be advantageous.
• A 2:1 or above in a numerate degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple credit risk and analytics engagements across consumer and SME lending.
• Own projects from scoping and methodology through to final client delivery.
• Lead analytical teams while remaining close to the technical work.
• Gain exposure across a number of projects, including scorecard modelling, forecasting, portfolio analytics, and credit strategy.
• Build and manage senior client relationships.
• Translate complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
• Mentor team members and strengthen technical and delivery capability.
