Responsibilities

• Analyse data (annual accounts, bank statements, credit reference agency data) to assess risk for SME loan approvals.
• Enhance loan decision quality by integrating market, industry and portfolio insights.
• Expand knowledge of UK SMEs, accounting practices and financing standards to support risk evaluation.
• Review loan applications efficiently to provide best-in-class borrower experience.
• Contribute to development of systems and processes by sharing efficiency-improving recommendations.
• Advise colleagues to maximize commercial opportunities without compromising risk management.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks and control weaknesses in day-to-day activities.
