Job summary

Archer in partnership with Accenture seeks a Cloud Platform Engineering Specialist in Bristol to lead enterprise-scale cloud initiatives and AI-native infrastructure across major cloud providers. You will shape security, observability, and automation at scale while mentoring teams and contributing to innovative platform accelerators.

The role requires deep expertise in Azure/AWS/GCP, IaC, and AI-enabled delivery, with a strong focus on governance, FinOps and platform resilience.

Qualifications

• Design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake.
• Advanced IaC capabilities with AI-assisted generation and governance.
• CI/CD platform design and implementation with AI-assisted deployment and test automation.
• AIOps, platform observability and intelligent monitoring for self-healing capabilities.
• Cloud security, networking, identity and access management, and policy-as-code engineering.
• AI-ready platform architecture for GenAI, ML and agentic workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platform programmes, driving AI-native infra across Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Fabric and Snowflake.
• Architect AI-ready platform environments, addressing compute, networking, storage and security needs.
• Drive AIOps adoption with monitoring, incident detection, and self-healing infra capabilities.
• Lead CI/CD design with AI-assisted deployment and automated testing across delivery teams.
• Establish and govern IaC practices at scale with AI-assisted code generation and review.
