Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications and services. You will push the boundaries of cloud computing, explore new technologies, and align solutions with AVEVA’s strategic goals, while ensuring operational security, stability and scalability.

In this hybrid role, you’ll work with development teams to enhance reliability, cost awareness and reporting, and participate in on-call rotations as part of a global 24x7 team.

Qualifications

• At least ten years in software development or DevOps/SRE, with five+ years in Cloud environments.
• Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Core or Java.
• Experience scripting with PowerShell, Node.js or Python.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices and leverage serverless functions.
• Improve operational stability, security, cost management and reporting for cloud solutions.
• Advance DevOps processes, automation, and effective reporting.
• Respond to incidents promptly to minimize customer impact.
• Oversee cloud deployments, track progress, and manage releases.
