Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Developer in Cambridge. You will design and implement secure cloud platform capabilities on Microsoft Azure within AVEVA CONNECT Core Services, operating in an agile team.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity and software quality. We value strong design and coding skills, experience with microservices, REST principles, and Kubernetes/containerisation.

Qualifications

• Strong design and coding skills with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Experience developing microservice or service-oriented architectures.
• Good understanding of REST API design principles.
• Experience with C#/.NET and cloud development in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, or cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, resilient features for AVEVA CONNECT Core Services.
• Contribute to technical design and implementation decisions across cloud and service-based architectures.
• Build and improve services using CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to support engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery.
• Work collaboratively in an agile development team and share knowledge on cloud technologies.
