Job summary
AVEVA in Cambridge is seeking a Software Engineer to help design, build, and operate the AWS SaaS platform that delivers AVEVA Unified Engineering products. You will work across serverless APIs, identity flows, and Windows-centric infrastructure while contributing to CI/CD and automation.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is proactive, curious, and eager to learn a broad modern tech stack. Hybrid working and strong mentoring are available.
Qualifications
- Experience designing and building cloud-based services and APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with AWS services and Windows-based infrastructure.
- Strong communication and collaboration in a distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable AWS SaaS services and support platform components.
- Develop integrations and serverless capabilities (API Gateway/Lambda, SCIM with AVEVA CONNECT).
- Operate cloud environments with observability and cost/performance focus.
- Contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure automation; participate in agile planning.
