Job summary
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Engineering invites you to join as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help shape the end-to-end cloud hosted services that support millions of users. You will collaborate with Architects, Site Reliability Engineers, Delivery Managers and Product Managers within the Engineering Tooling Services Teams.

Qualifications
- Experience designing and operating Public Cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to manage incident resolution and service availability.
- Experience migrating on-prem systems to cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Support design and implementation of Public Cloud infrastructure to meet plans.
- Operate Public Cloud tech with focus on security, availability, resilience, performance.
- Provide specialist support to junior staff and users.
- Develop and implement service improvement plans for cloud technologies.
- Manage and resolve incidents for cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with PDU teams to understand Ansible/GitLab instances.
- Develop and support migration paths for PDU instances to strategic platforms.
- Ensure minimal disruption by proactively identifying/resolving issues during migrations.
- Upskill end users and develop automation to reduce toil.
