Job summary

DWP Digital in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help build and support cloud platforms that keep critical services running. You'll migrate and modernise Ansible and GitLab environments, automate repetitive tasks, and drive reliability and performance.

Working across hubs in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle, you'll join a hybrid team, mentor engineers, and shape the future of our cloud services while developing your own skills and career with a civil

Qualifications

• Experience enabling engineering teams to adopt and apply standards, policies and technical frameworks that promote consistency, compliance and engineering excellence across multiple disciplines.
• Significant experience using and administering source code management systems such as GitLab, including the development, maintenance and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Significant IaC with Terraform and CaC with Ansible; CloudFormation desirable.
• Significant Linux administration experience including RHEL and Debian.
• Experience with ITIL practices such as Incident, Problem and Change Management and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing engineers and driving engineering standards.
