Job summary

Legal & General Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and evolve cloud-native platforms using AWS serverless tech and MongoDB. You will shape technical direction, reduce debt, and mentor engineers in a modern Agile environment.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, apply clean code and secure-by-default practices, and work with stakeholders to align technical decisions with customer outcomes and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering serverless solutions on AWS
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with MongoDB data modeling and aggregation
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering culture
