Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Redhill, Surrey office on a hybrid schedule. You will design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and mentor the engineering team across diverse initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong AWS expertise, container experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and proficiency in scripting and IaC tools. This role offers a path for technical leadership within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive cloud engineering experience with AWS.
• Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cloud infrastructure projects leveraging AWS native services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment.
• Mentor engineers and guide best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps.
