Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Redhill, Surrey seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. The role focuses on AWS-based cloud infrastructure, container platforms, and DevOps practices.

You will lead complex projects, build CI/CD pipelines, mentor engineers, and stay current with industry trends. Hybrid work allows three days in office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in cloud technologies, especially AWS.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes or EKS).
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex software engineering projects spanning emerging technologies.
• Design and implement AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team.
• Stay current with cloud computing trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
