Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Principal Architect to define and lead cloud architecture across Digital Platforms, spanning web, servicing, and internal tools. You will own AWS-based solutions, drive end-to-end architectural design, and partner with central Cloud and DevSecOps teams to ensure secure, scalable patterns.

You will translate business roadmaps into technical solutions, mentor engineers, and influence across distributed teams while aligning with enterprise strategy and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions on AWS.
• Ability to lead architectural decisions across teams without direct authority.
• Knowledge of modern architecture patterns (microservices, API-first, event-driven).
• Experience with central cloud platforms and DevSecOps operating models.

Responsibilities

• Define cloud architecture strategy for Digital Platforms across web, servicing, and internal tools.
• Lead AWS-based architecture and delivery of complex solutions across applications and infrastructure.
• Design end-to-end architectures integrating AEM, edge/CDN platforms (e.g., Fastly), APIs, and backend cloud services.
• Establish and govern cloud standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns.
