Job summary

Job description
Job Summary

We are excited to recruit to a Senior Clinical Psychologist post to support the provision of psychological input across our Children and Young People’s Mental Health (CYPMH) team in South Cumbria (covering our team bases in Kendal and Barrow-in-Furness).

Responsibilities
  • Support the provision and delivery of high quality psychological services within their specific geographical area and work closely with senior colleagues to achieve this.
  • Provide a qualified specialist clinical psychology service to children, young people and their families within a specialist CAMHS team, including delivering specialist psychological assessment, formulation and psychological therapies.
  • Offer advice and consultation to non-psychology colleagues and to other non-professional carers, as well as utilise research skills for audit policy and service development within the area served by the service.
