Job summary

Leading Global CRO in the UK is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Manager for a fully remote role. You will own data management deliverables, timelines and project communications, and lead client interactions from kickoff through inspections. The role includes training junior staff on EDC and dataflow, plus maintaining essential study documents.

You will drive data quality, manage complex data streams, and coordinate with QA for archival tasks in a globally oriented, home-based setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health/pharmaceutical sciences, physical/biological sciences, or chemistry.
• Minimum 5 years data management experience in pharmaceutical clinical trials (or 2 years as CDM II).
• Strong understanding of CDM concepts, dataflows, ICH-GCP and industry standards.
• Proven leadership in managing complex data management projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary owner of data management deliverables, timelines and status reports.
• Lead client discussions, kick-offs, investigator meetings and bid defenses.
• Mentor junior staff and deliver training on EDC, dataflow and QC processes.
• Maintain study binders and support during audits and inspections.
• Oversee study build, design, UAT and data cleaning activities.
• Develop and maintain DMP, Data Management Project Plan, DQRP and related documents.
• Coordinate post-go-live changes, locks and archival documentation.
