Job summary

Leading Global CRO is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Manager for a fully remote role in the UK. You will own data management deliverables, timelines, and reports, acting as the primary contact for project-related discussions and scope management.

You will lead a study-level team, deliver training on EDC, oversee data cleaning and harmonisation, and ensure QA/audit readiness across global health authority submissions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health/pharmaceutical sciences, physical/biological sciences, or chemistry.
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical clinical trial data management (or at least 2 years as a CDM II).
• Deep understanding of clinical trial data management concepts, dataflows, ICH-GCP, and data standards.
• Strong leadership skills in CDM activities and a drive to excel in leading complex data management projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day contact and owner of all data management deliverables, timelines, and status reports for assigned projects.
• Serve as the first line of contact for technical, procedural, or out-of-scope discussions, participating in project kick-offs, investigator meetings, and bid defenses.
• Plan study-level resources and mentor junior staff; deliver training on EDC systems, dataflow, and QC processes.
• Maintain clinical trial Data Management Study Binders and provide front-line support during client audits and regulatory inspections.
• Lead eCRF design, generate annotated CRFs, write Completion Instructions, and participate in database design and UAT.
• Develop and maintain Data Management Plan (DMP), Data Management Project Plan, and Data Quality Review Plan (DQRP).
• Oversee data review, query resolution, and SAE reconciliation; manage third-party vendor data streams and coding discrepancies.
• Manage post-go-live database modifications, perform locks, and coordinate with QA for archival documentation.
