Job summary

Aegon UK is seeking a Senior Client Relationship Director to join our Workplace team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on developing and strengthening key client relationships to grow AUM, retain schemes and drive profitable revenue across DC pension programs.

You will manage complex stakeholder relationships up to board level, shape client plans, deliver strategic propositions and oversee delivery from onboarding through the life of schemes, contributing to market growth and client

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Defined Contribution investment solutions and pensions market.
• Proven track record building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, including board level.
• Ability to influence outcomes, deliver exceptional client experiences and provide expert guidance.
• Experience managing complex projects and programs aligning with business objectives.
• Strategic mindset with client plans that drive long‑term value.

Responsibilities

• Creating strong, enduring relationships with clients at all levels to protect and retain schemes.
• Identifying and delivering opportunities by educating Trustees/employers on Aegon services.
• Overseeing delivery from implementation through the life of the scheme.
• Forging deeper relationships with existing clients to achieve retention goals.
• Driving opportunities to achieve value and revenue growth.
• Delivering a strong employer engagement strategy and service suite.
• Overseeing all aspects of the team’s delivery while adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Developing internal relationships to foster constructive dialogue.
• Securing profitable new corporate clients and trustees in collaboration with sales leadership.
• Supporting propositional developments through internal projects.
