Job summary

BMC Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Client Manager for a prominent UK-based accountancy practice. The role demands ACA/ACCA qualifications and at least 15 years of UK practice experience, with a track record in leading client relationships and teams.

You will manage your own client portfolio, oversee staff, and ensure high-quality accounts and tax work while delivering exceptional service to senior client contacts.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with significant UK practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients at senior partner level and building strong, long-term relationships
• Supervising and supporting a team of at least four accountants
• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Preparing accounts from both incomplete records and computerised records
• Preparing company and personal tax returns
• Reviewing the work of other members of the team
• Liaising with clients on a wide range of accounting matters
• Preparing management accounts
• Carrying out client visits where required
• Ensuring accounts and other work are completed accurately and to a high standard
• Supporting the wider practice with ad-hoc projects as they arise
