Job summary

BMC Recruitment Group Ltd invites an experienced ACA/ACCA accountant to join a UK accountancy practice in a senior role. You will manage your own client portfolio and lead a team of four accountants, serving as a key contact for clients at senior partner level.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in UK practice, strong management accounts, and robust tax knowledge, with excellent client communication and organisational skills to ensure high-quality work and deadlines are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with UK practice experience.
• At least 15 years in a UK-based accountancy practice.
• Experience supervising staff and reviewing junior accountants.
• Strong expertise in management accounts and tax work.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with senior partners and manage a portfolio of clients.
• Supervise a team of at least four accountants.
• Prepare accounts from varied records and manage deadlines.
• Prepare company and personal tax returns.
• Review work of junior staff and ensure high-quality output.
• Engage with clients on a range of accounting matters.
• Travel to client sites for visits as required.
