Job summary

A qualified ACA or ACCA accountant is sought for a senior role within a UK accountancy practice. You will manage your own client portfolio, oversee a team of four+ accountants and act as the main contact for clients at senior partner level.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• 15+ years' recent experience in a UK-based accountancy practice.
• Strong management accounts experience.
• Experience preparing accounts for sole traders, LTDs, partnerships and LLPs.
• Strong knowledge of company and personal taxation; staff supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients at senior partner level and build long‑term relationships.
• Supervise a team of at least four accountants and review their work.
• Manage your own client portfolio and oversee accounts preparation.
• Prepare accounts from incomplete or computerised records and file tax returns.
• Deliver management accounts and assist ad‑hoc projects as needed.
