Job Description

Based in their Taunton offices, as Operational Practice Director, you will take on responsibilities including:

• Review of internal accounts, payroll, internal bookkeeping, billing accounts, workflow management, reconciliations, and debt recovery.
• General management, IT systems, office facilities, and change management, implementing improvements to systems and processes.
• Assisting with staffing needs, organizing training, courses, and planning.
• Admin, HR, and Recruitment support, working with the staffing team to provide support and guidance.
• Providing key administrative support to the Partners, including meeting minutes, board meetings, and letters of engagement.

You will work closely with partners, acting as a key right-hand support, playing a vital role within this growing, successful chartered accounting firm.

The Successful Applicant

For this role, you should be qualified with ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA or similar, or a QBE professional with experience in practice management. You might be moving from a client service role to this operational, internal position, aiming for a leadership role in practice management as the firm expands.
