Job summary

Pinsent Masons LLP is seeking a Senior Client Contracts Lawyer to join our Client Contracts & Commercial Team. This full-time, hybrid role offers exposure to high‑value contracts across practice groups, including technology and AI‑related work, and a chance to influence the firm’s contracting approach.

You will review, draft and negotiate client-facing agreements, provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders, manage regulatory and policy compliance, and lead on contract-process

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with typically 3+ PQE, and relevant experience.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• In-house law firm experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of client-facing contracts, including complex commercial, technology and AI-related arrangements.
• Provide clear, commercially grounded legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual arrangements meet regulatory, legal and internal policy requirements.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks, collaborating with colleagues across the GCO and wider firm.
• Support ad hoc projects across the GCO, including process improvements and policy development.
• Champion efficiency through legal technology and contract-management tools.
• Spot opportunities to streamline contracting processes and embed best practice.
• Play a key role in enhancing the firm’s client engagement and commercial strategy.
