Job summary

Pinsent Masons LLP is seeking a Senior Client Contracts Lawyer to lead the review, drafting and negotiation of client-facing contracts, including technology and AI-related arrangements. You will provide practical, commercially grounded legal advice and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

You will join a high-performing General Counsel Office team, with opportunities to shape contracting processes, leverage legal tech, and develop leadership within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with typically 3+ PQE, but all suitable experience considered.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• In-house law firm experience desirable.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of client-facing contracts.
• Provide clear, commercially grounded legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual arrangements meet regulatory, legal and internal policy requirements.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks, collaborating across the GCO and firm.
• Escalate matters in line with governance processes; support ad hoc projects.
• Champion efficiency through legal technology and contract-management tools.
• Streamline contracting processes and embed best practice.
• Enhance the firm’s client engagement and commercial strategy.
