The role offers real responsibility within a growing professional services firm. Based in Harrow, the successful candidate will manage client portfolios, develop relationships with business owners and contribute beyond compliance work.

Qualifications

• Several years of accountancy practice experience.
• Experience managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax principles.
• ACA, ACCA or AAT qualification, or strong relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients.
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts and financial statements.
• Complete corporation tax and personal tax computations and returns.
• Prepare management accounts and provide meaningful financial insight.
• Support VAT, bookkeeping and general accounting queries for clients.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and become their primary accounting contact.
• Review work of junior team members and coach where needed.
• Identify opportunities to provide wider services to clients.
• Meet deadlines across multiple client assignments with accuracy.
