Job summary

Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited seeks a Client Manager - Accounts to lead a portfolio of owner‑managed businesses with accounting requirements. The role involves building durable client relationships, delivering technically proficient services, and supporting the accounts team.

You will work closely with directors, mentor colleagues, and contribute to business development while maintaining high quality standards in a busy, client‑facing environment in Sidcup, London.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with solid practice experience at Assistant Manager or Manager level.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients within practice.
• Strong accounts and general practice knowledge.
• Confident with accounting technology; CCH experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients with accounting requirements.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with business owners and client contacts.
• Review accounts work to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with directors to provide practical accounting and business advice.
• Supervise and coach junior and qualified team members.
• Oversee workflow across your portfolio and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities to broaden existing client relationships and support business development.
• Understand clients' wider commercial needs to enhance service delivery.
