Job summary

TPF Recruitment is working with a growing London-based accountancy practice to recruit an Accounts Senior/Senior Accountant. The role involves owning a client portfolio and delivering accounting, tax and advisory services, with a clear path to management.

You will work closely with partners, develop client relationships and gain exposure to accounts, tax, audit and advisory work in a hybrid London setting.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification required.
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong experience in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
• Experience managing a client portfolio.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Commercially minded with long-term career progression within practice.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of clients and deliver accounting, tax and advisory services.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for clients.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns for clients.
• Mentor junior accountants and support their development.
• Assist with audit assignments and assurance work.
• Support due diligence, business valuations and corporate finance projects.
• Collaborate with partners on strategic growth initiatives and practice development.
