Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to lead a cleaning team within a fast-paced logistics and distribution site. You will support the Site Manager with recruitment, training, and performance development, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety across designated areas.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in cleaning/facilities management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Good spoken and written English; may require language assessment

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coach the cleaning team to meet service standards
• Support Site Manager with recruitment, inductions and training
• Conduct site walks, audits and budget-related activities
• Ensure safety, compliance and use of approved chemicals/equipment
• Promote positive relationships with customers and colleagues
