Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day cleaning team activities against task schedules.
• Support recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of staff.
• Monitor cleaning standards to ensure EHS and GMP compliance.
• Provide technical training and ensure safe work procedures are followed.
• Distribute uniforms, monitor stock of cleaning materials and reorder supplies.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate to the line manager when needed.

We're looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead and develop a cleaning team while maintaining excellent service standards for one of our customers. You will oversee the delivery of routine, planned and periodic cleaning services, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with agreed task schedules. Role Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the cleaning team, ensuring staff understand and work in accordance with their task schedules.
• Support the recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of cleaning colleagues.
• Monitor cleaning standards and ensure all work complies with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures, rules and guidelines.
• Provide technical training when required and ensure the correct health and safety procedures are followed.
• Distribute uniforms, monitor the use of cleaning materials, maintain appropriate stock levels and order supplies when required.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and professionally, referring matters to the line manager where appropriate.
  Previous experience of supervising or leading a cleaning team.
• Practical experience of delivering cleaning services within a professional working environment.
• Good communication and people-management skills, with the ability to support and develop colleagues.
• The ability to work to schedules, prioritise responsibilities and use your own initiative.
• An understanding of health and safety requirements, with experience of EHS and GMP procedures being advantageous.
