Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor within the cleaning and waste team. You will supervise equipment, cleaning practices, and chemical use, ensuring operations comply with health and safety standards.

Daily/weekly machinery checks, fault reporting, and coordinating with the Site Manager are key duties. The role requires prior supervisor experience, strong customer focus, organizational skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

Previous supervisor experience in a similar role is essential.
Strong customer focus and service skills required.
Ability to prioritise workload and stay well organised.
Good awareness of Health & Safety legislation is required.
Communicative English is essential; an English assessment may be used.

Responsibilities

Supervise/operate cleaning equipment and use of chemicals per guidelines.
Carry out daily and weekly checks of machinery and report faults to the Site Manager.
Ensure Health & Safety is understood and followed by the team.
Liaise with the Site Manager on shift operation and waste monitoring.
Keep equipment clean, secured when not in use, and support ad-hoc duties as needed.
Address customer complaints and participate in training on safety and procedures.
