Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Supervisor in a warehouse cleaning and waste team. You will supervise/operate equipment, oversee cleaning practices and chemical usage per guidelines, and liaise with the Site Manager on shift operations.

You will carry out daily and weekly checks of machinery and ensure health and safety compliance. Responsibilities include reporting faults, monitoring waste with weekly checklists, keeping equipment clean and secured when not in use, and performing ad-hoc duties as

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor experience in a similar environment.
• Strong customer focus and service skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Good organisational skills and awareness of Health & Safety regulations.
• Communicative English is essential; English assessment may be required.
• DBS check and drug and alcohol screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/operate equipment and cleaning practices in a warehouse.
• Monitor use of cleaners and chemicals per guidelines; report faults.
• Liaise with Site Manager on shift operation and health & safety adherence.
• Carry out daily/weekly machinery checks; ensure equipment is clean and secured.
• Undertake cleaning and ad-hoc duties; handle customer complaints; attend training.
