Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Supervisor to join our warehouse cleaning and waste team.

You will supervise/operate equipment, apply cleaning practices and manage chemicals to the correct guidelines, and carry out daily and weekly checks of machinery. You will report faults to the Site Manager, ensure health and safety is understood and observed, liaise with the Site Manager on shift operation, monitor waste via weekly checklists, and undertake ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor experience.
• Communicative English is essential.
• Basic Disclosure (DBS) will be required; drug and alcohol screening will be undertaken.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/operate equipment and cleaning processes within a warehouse environment.
• Carry out daily and weekly checks of machinery and report faults to the Site Manager.
• Ensure health & safety guidelines are understood and adhered to; liaise on shift operations.
• Monitor waste using weekly checklists and assist with ad-hoc duties as required.
