Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Clean Water Process Engineer at the Principal to Associate Director level to join our Water Engineering teams across the UK. You will drive process design on a range of water and water reuse projects, from feasibility through to detailed design, procurement and construction support.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, engage with clients and vendors, and provide technical guidance while ensuring projects meet time, cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Chemical or Environmental engineering degree (or MSc) is required.
• CEng chartership to be pursued within 12 months.
• Experience leading municipal water projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce process design deliverables (e.g., basis of design, P&IDs, mass balances).
• Undertake outline or detailed process engineering design.
• Attend site visits for data collection and operator meetings.
• Provide technical input to procurement and support project managers in client discussions.
• Coach and supervise junior staff and collaborate with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Lead and participate in client meetings and ensure design integration across disciplines.
