Job summary

SiriusPoint is seeking a senior Claims Operations Manager to support the effective running of the Claims function across complex commercial insurance activities. You will work with Global Head of Claims Operations, claims leadership, and external partners to deliver high-quality operational support in governance, reporting and transformation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in claims operations or insurance operations.
• Strong understanding of the commercial insurance claims lifecycle.
• Experience supporting performance management, MI reporting, governance and audit activity.
• Proven experience with claims systems, workflow tools and data sets.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with Claims, Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance and IT.
• Exposure to third-party claims service providers such as TPAs or loss adjusters.

Responsibilities

• Operational management: Support the day-to-day running of the Claims Operations function, ensuring processes and service standards are followed.
• Process ownership and improvement: Maintain and improve claims operating procedures to simplify workflows and strengthen controls.
• Performance reporting: Produce and interpret claims operational MI, dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Governance and controls: Support governance, audit readiness, control testing and remediation tracking.
• Stakeholder coordination: Liaise between Claims, Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Legal, IT and external partners.
• Data and systems support: Maintain data quality across claims platforms and reporting tools; support system enhancements.
• Vendor oversight: Assist with oversight of TPAs, loss adjusters, and other service partners.
• Regulatory and audit support: Assist with internal policies, regulatory expectations and audit requests.
• Change delivery: Contribute to claims transformation initiatives including automation and new technology.
