Job summary

Avencia Talent Solutions Limited is recruiting an experienced claims professional to join our Care Claims team. You will manage a varied portfolio of technical insurance claims across care, education and not-for-profit sectors, making decisions and shaping strategies.

The role offers ownership, autonomy over cases, and a pathway to strategic, senior decision-making. You will work with insurers, brokers and external experts, handling personal injury, liability and professional indemnity claims

Responsibilities

• Handling a varied caseload of claims involving personal injury, professional liability, public liability, management liability and historic abuse.
• Managing claims from initial notification through to settlement or resolution.
• Assessing liability, policy coverage and potential exposure.
• Developing and driving effective claims strategies, including litigated matters.
• Working closely with insurers, brokers, solicitors and external experts.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships and managing competing priorities.

Your work will include:

• Handling claims involving personal injury, professional liability, public liability, management liability and historic abuse
• Managing claims from initial notification through to settlement or resolution
• Assessing liability, policy coverage and potential exposure
• Developing and driving effective claims strategies, including litigated matters
• Working closely with insurers, brokers, solicitors and external experts
• Building strong stakeholder relationships and managing competing priorities

• Experience within care, healthcare, education or related sectors
• Exposure to Employers' Liability, Public Liability, Professional Indemnity or Management Liability claims
