Job summary

WTW is seeking a Claims Handler or Senior Claims Handler to join our P&C Claims Team in Ipswich. The hybrid role offers collaboration with global colleagues and clients across Lloyd’s and the London Market.

You will manage claims from notification to settlement, provide guidance to clients, and ensure service standards are met or exceeded. Experience in Natural Resources or P&C claims will determine seniority.

Are you ready to take the next step in your claims career? We’re looking for aClaims Handler or Senior Claims Handler(depending on experience) to join our dynamicP&C Claims TeamwithinClaims Administrationat WTW. This hybrid role is based in our Ipswich office and offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across our global network including London, Mumbai, and other WTW offices as well as with clients, insurers, and other key stakeholders involved in the claims process. We manage a diverse portfolio of clients for Natural Resources (including Mining, Renewable Energy, Power & Utilities), Property & Casualty Direct and Willis North America.
The Role:
As a Claims Handler, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality claims service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing claims from first notification of loss through to settlement.
• Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the claims journey.
• Ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds agreed standards and client expectations.
• Collaborating with WTW’s global claims community to share knowledge and best practices.
• Building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other external partners.
• Experience in handling Natural Resources and/or Property and Casualty claims (level of seniority will depend on experience).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A client-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international environment.
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Lloyd’s and the London Market

• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and complex tasks simultaneously.
• Preferably working towards the CII qualification
• Preferably educated to A level standard or relevant industry experience
