Job summary
Attega Group Ltd is recruiting a Civils / Groundworks Field Supervisor to manage site operations across civils and groundworks teams. The role combines field leadership with safety accountability and occasional office planning support.
You will oversee safe digging practices, perform site surveys, prepare estimates, and deliver safety talks while coordinating with scheduling on labor, plant and materials. National travel is required.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in civils/groundworks operations, with hands‑on field supervision
- Strong knowledge of safe digging, utilities, and field‑based operations
- Experience overseeing multiple field teams and safety compliance
- Ability to estimate civils works and produce site safety briefings
Responsibilities
- Supervise civils/groundworks operations across field teams.
- Support groundworkers for safe, efficient work to standard.
- Carry out site inspections, audits and quality checks.
- Ensure safe digging procedures with RAMS and permits.
- Conduct site surveys and support planning/quotations.
- Prepare estimates for civils works when required.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Monitor productivity and quality across teams.
- Attend client meetings and provide progress updates.
- Support scheduling with labour, plant and materials.
