Job summary

Newgate (Newark) Limited is seeking a Civils Team Supervisor reporting to the Contracts Manager. You will oversee groundworks and foundation installation across UK projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and compliance with specifications.

You will lead a small team, read drawings, coordinate site activities, manage schedules, liaise with the Contracts Team and customers, and enforce HASAWA safety practices.

Qualifications

• SSSTS certification or equivalent required.
• NPORS Card for Mini Digger and Forward Tipping Dumper required.
• Streetworks (NRSWA) Operative or Supervisor qualification essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and motivate a small team to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
• Oversee all site preparation, excavation, foundations for groundworks.
• Read, interpret, and work accurately to engineering drawings.
