Job summary

Search Consultancy is seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to join a major civil engineering project in Newton Abbot. You will oversee daily site operations, coordinate sub-contractors, and enforce high safety and quality standards on site.

In this role you will lead civil gangs, manage plant operators, deliver toolbox talks, monitor progress against schedules, and report on site activities to the Site Manager. A strong civils background and UK work entitlement are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civil engineering, deep drainage, earthworks or highways.
• Certifications in health and safety and card requirements are mandatory.
• Ability to report and communicate clearly on site.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: manage daily site operations and civils gangs.
• Health & Safety Management: deliver toolbox talks and RAMS compliance.
• Work Progress & Logistics: monitor progress and coordinate deliveries.
• Quality Assurance: inspect drainage, foundations, excavations and finishes.
• Client & Management Reporting: update site diaries and report progress.
