Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee daily groundworks, infrastructure and civil activities on site in the United Kingdom. You will lead operatives and subcontractors, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

You will enforce CDM regulations, conduct toolbox talks, review drawings, and keep accurate logs. The role requires 3–5 years of supervision, CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS, FAW, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/4 in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of supervising civil engineering projects.
• CSCS card: Gold (Supervisor) or Black (Manager) is essential.
• SMSTS or SSSTS safety training required.
• First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate needed.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil operatives, trades and subcontractors on site.
• Enforce health and safety controls and RAMS compliance.
• Review drawings and ensure work matches specs and instructions.
• Support 4-week look-ahead programmes and record progress.
• Coordinate delivery, storage and distribution of materials and plant.
• Liaise with Site Managers, engineers and safety officers on technical queries.
