Crouch Waterfall, part of the Vulcain Engineering Group, is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to deliver innovative structural solutions across diverse UK projects. You will lead teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to proposals while ensuring high technical standards.

Hybrid working is available; the role requires UK project experience and residence nearby Bristol or willingness to relocate. The company supports growth toward Principal Engineer level and values a collaborative

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in the design of structures, ideally from a design consultancy.
• Sector experience in buildings (commercial, education, residential, healthcare).
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical scopes or lead projects, or mentor others.
• Working towards or already Chartered (ICE or IStructE).
• Comfortable operating in client-facing environments with strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and UK project experience; reside locally to Bristol or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical delivery across projects delivering civil and structural solutions.
• Mentor Engineers, Graduates and Technicians, sharing technical knowledge.
• Review work and provide hands-on design input for complex elements.
• Carry out site surveys and structural assessments and prepare reports.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure deliverables meet scope and budget.
• Support development of Quality Management System and compliance.
• Contribute technical input to proposals and identify opportunities.
