John Wood Group PLC seeks a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to support the Operations team from our Stockton office on a 6-12 month fixed-term contract. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 4 days in Stockton Office.

The candidate will apply professional judgement, creativity, and strategic thinking to develop innovative solutions for complex technical challenges and may lead projects as a technical lead, ensuring outcomes align with customer requirements and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Senior Civil & Structural Engineer with demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects.
• Ability to apply professional judgement, creativity and strategic thinking to problem solving.
• Experience supporting proposals, interpreting results and delivering outcomes to engineering standards.

Responsabilités

• Develop innovative solutions for complex technical challenges as part of the Operations team.
• Act as technical lead or key team member on major projects, identifying issues and delivering practical solutions.
