Job summary

Mott MacDonald in the UK energy sector is seeking Civil/Structural engineers for a range of capacities. You will work on power plants, HV substations and cable projects, delivering design and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Hybrid working is offered, with opportunities to lead FEED, planning drawings, and specifications, while ensuring safety and quality across assignments.

Qualifications

• Advanced structural engineering knowledge of load-bearing capacity, materials, and design codes (Eurocodes).
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS or similar software for modeling complex structures.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for project coordination and execution.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: lead structural projects, timelines, budgets and quality.
• Proposal Writing and Cost Estimation: prepare strong proposals and accurate cost estimates.
• FEED: lead FEED activities for structural components.
