Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join its Civil and Structural Team in the UK. The role spans power generation, HV transmission, and related civil/structural design, offering opportunities for progression within a dynamic, global consultancy.

Hybrid working is supported across multiple locations. The candidate will lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts, manage projects, write proposals, and ensure high-quality drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• PE license is advantageous.
• Experience in structural engineering and energy projects is beneficial.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS) and BIM.
• Strong project leadership and proposal-writing capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Project management for civil/structural designs.
• Prepare and review drawings for planning and tender packages.
• Lead FEED activities and design coordination across disciplines.
• Develop specifications and cost estimates for projects.
• Assess existing structures for reuse and safety.
