Job summary

Westlakes Recruit are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on major infrastructure projects across the UK. You will provide technical leadership from design through to construction, ensuring delivery safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

You will work with Project Managers and site teams, lead Senior Engineers, manage design information, coordinate stakeholders and drive value engineering while maintaining strong client and

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Significant experience delivering major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing Senior Engineers.
• Commercial awareness with experience supporting cost control and contract administration.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across all project lifecycle stages.
• Lead and support Senior Engineers and site teams while maintaining client relationships.
• Monitor and manage design information, buildability and constructability.
• Drive value engineering and innovative construction solutions.
• Support cost control, commercial reporting and contract administration activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and ITPs.
• Lead, mentor and develop Graduate and Apprentice Engineers.
• Promote safety and quality across the project.
