Job summary

VolkerStevin in Plymouth seeks a Senior Planner to lead tender and contract programme activities on our long-term framework. Under Planning Manager supervision you will implement planning standards, establish schedules with Estimator, and drive the planning philosophy across the project team.

You will develop construction methods, manage time risk, lead collaborative planning sessions, and produce monthly updates and dashboards.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Degree or HND in a relevant subject; professional membership is desirable.
• Broad Construction Knowledge across methods and techniques.
• Ability to develop a time risk strategy and seek opportunities.
• Commercial knowledge of contract and programme requirements within contract.
• Results-driven approach with problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead tender planning and produce the Tender Programme and supporting information.
• Establish construction outputs, project calendars and working hours with operational support.
• Develop methods of construction sequencing, installation and commissioning with Bid Team.
• Produce planning deliverables including worksheets, presentations and reports.
• Drive change control and recovery through contract requirements.
• Manage progress reporting, monthly dashboards and output updates with project team.
• Coordinate with Estimator to reconcile plant/labour and major materials.
