Job summary

VolkerStevin in Peterborough seeks an experienced Senior Planner to lead the development and management of robust project programmes for major water infrastructure projects. You will work with Project Managers, Design Teams and Delivery Partners to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within civil engineering, infrastructure or water sector projects.
• Experience developing and managing complex project programmes from inception through to completion.
• Strong working knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working within NEC contract environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project sequencing and programme controls.
• The ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively and manage multiple workstreams.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to health, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain robust project programmes that support safe, efficient and timely project delivery.
• Support project teams from tender stage through to completion.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Commercial Teams and Delivery Partners to ensure delivery of programmes.
