Job summary

VolkerStevin is seeking a proactive Planner to drive the scheduling and lifecycle planning for major water infrastructure projects. Based in Peterborough with site travel, you will support Project Managers, construction teams and designers to deliver programmes on time and within scope.

You will bring experience in civil engineering planning, advanced P6/Asta Powerproject skills and a solid grasp of construction methods. Strong communication and a collaborative mindset are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning for civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities projects.
• Strong programme management and scheduling across the project lifecycle.
• Advanced knowledge of P6 or Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and project delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project controls and reporting.
• Ability to analyse complex information and present it clearly to teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor project programmes from tender to close-out.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, construction teams, commercial teams and designers to ensure effective planning.
• Ensure projects progress is tracked, reported and aligned with client requirements.
