Job summary

Sweco UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to lead drainage and highway projects from inception to completion. The role can be based in Ipswich, London or Solent offices, with flexible working options.

You will oversee design, calculations and project documentation, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients to ensure successful project delivery. A Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status is advantageous, with strong flood risk and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure and drainage schemes.
• Strong knowledge of flood risk and highways design principles.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of drainage and highway infrastructure.
• Perform detailed hydraulic/hydrological calculations and analyses.
• Prepare reports, drawings and technical submissions for planning/consents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure project success.
