Job summary

Sweco UK Ltd is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer to deliver drainage and highway schemes for a range of projects across our Ipswich, London or Solent offices. You will coordinate with utilities and other disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires a good understanding of flood risk management, experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and knowledge of DMRB/MCHW standards. A degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred) is expected, with equivalent experience

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering (bachelor’s or master’s preferred).
• Proficiency with drainage and highway design principles.
• Experience with industry-standard design software and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop drainage and infrastructure solutions for highways and developments.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrological calculations and prepare technical submissions.
• Prepare reports, drawings and documentation for planning and construction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with utilities.
