Job summary
Sweco UK is seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, with options to base in Ipswich, London or Solent.
You will lead drainage and highway infrastructure projects from inception to completion, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients. This senior role requires independent delivery and active mentoring of junior staff.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Masters preferred.
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status desired.
- Experience leading infrastructure and drainage projects.
- Strong knowledge of flood risk, highways and drainage standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of drainage and highways schemes.
- Perform hydraulic/hydrological calculations.
- Prepare reports, drawings, and construction submissions.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors and regulators.
